Our Treasurer extraordinaire!  Kevin is a retired vascular surgeon with nonprofit experience so he done a great job getting us updated and in compliance. Kevin D. Martin, MD was born and raised in Kansas City, MO and attended Northwestern University where he graduated with both BA and MS degrees in Biology. After attending Vanderbilt School of Medicine, he attended general surgery residencies there and at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. Afterwards he finished a vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Cincinnati and has been in the clinical practice of vascular surgery since 1989 in the Cincinnati area. For the past 30 years he has practiced almost exclusively in Northern Kentucky in the St Elizabeth Healthcare systems performing a wide variety of vascular procedures.

He has been on the Kentucky Medicare Carrier Advisory Committee (currently CGS Medicare J-15) for the past 25 years. He has been on a variety of other committees including a health care commission for Hamilton County OH, tax levy review committees for Hamilton County OH, and a Northern Kentucky Managed Medicaid Task Force among others.  He is the medical director of the Vascular Laboratories of St Elizabeth Healthcare, the lead physician of St Elizabeth Physician Vascular Surgery, and has been the director of the Vascular Institute there. He is presently certified by the American Board of Surgery in both general surgery and vascular surgery. Previously he also was boarded in Surgical Critical Care.

He and his wife Carolyn have 2 daughters, one involved in public relations in NY with pharmaceuticals, and the other doing computer animation on motion pictures. They enjoy skiing, bicycling, traveling, good food and wine.
